Beşiktaş Technical Director Jean Tigana made the following statement following the victory against Samsunspor:

“My players were not very productive in the first half of the game. Following the talk we had in the locker room during the break, we were better positioned on the field in the second half. We had the chance to do what we wanted to do, we took advantage of the positions we had and scored the goals which brought us the victory. Since my team is physically great, we are usually able to play better than our rivals in the second half of the games. I am not looking for any ulterior motives in the referee about the goal scored by Ahmed Hassan, because the position took place behind him and he could not see it.  Even though we have very significant flaws, it was important for us to grab a victory over Samsunspor, which is fighting for staying in the league, in an away game and continue with our triumphs.”
