Fenerbahçe: 2 - Beşiktaş: 2

Beşiktaş Football Team tied (2-2) against its perennial rival Fenerbahçe in the game played away at the 23rd week of the Turkcell Super League. Sergen Yalçın scored the goals of the Black & White team.

Fenerbahçe applied pressure in the first few minutes but Oscar Cordoba, Beşiktaş goal keeper, saved some super balls. The Black & White team tried scoring goals at the rival’s goal through kicks performed by Tümer Metin, Kleberson, Sergen Yalçın and Mehmet Sedef. Beşiktaş, breaking the rival’s pressure by short passes, blocked the wings thoroughly and did not give many positions to Fenerbahçe. Referee Gökhan Güleç did not award the penalty kick when young Beşiktaş player Gökhan Güleç fell on the ground in a position in the penalty zone when Rüştü tried to stop him. Sergen Yalçın got face to face with Rüştü in the extended time of the first half but the ball his ball went out by the goal post. First half of the game ended with a scoreless tie.
The second half of the game began with attacks by both teams. Oscar Cordoba stopped the rivals’ attacks with his successful saves in the first few minutes. While Beşiktaş kicked the ball to the goal from distant points, Tuncay scored a goal at the 57th minute and put Fenerbahçe 1-0 in the lead. Sergen Yalçın, 10 minutes after the goal, kicked the ball from the penalty zone, the ball returned from the defense and then this time Ahmed Hassan kicked the ball. The ball hit the defense once more and went up in the air, and Sergen Yalçın kicked the returning ball one more time and scored the equalizing goal (1-1). 5 Minutes afterwards, it was Sergen Yalçın again netting the ball which returned from the defense after being stroke by Bobo, and put Beşiktaş 2-1 ahead. Fenerbahçe equalized the score thanks to the goal by Nobre at 76th minute (2-2). 
The game ended with a 2-2 tie since there was no any other goal scored in the remaining part of the game.
