Beşiktaş Cola Turka:69 Migros:56

Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s Basketball Team hosted Migrosspor in the BJK Akatlar Sports & Culture Complex and posted a 69-56 victory over its rival in the 17th week of the Turkish Women’s Basketball League.

Both teams began the game making hard defense and there was no change in the score board in the first 2 minutes of the game. Migros, trying to score points with the fast attacks it developed, was leading 11-6 with 5 points difference in the 5th minute. Migros did not spoil its defense organization and scored points thanks to its attacks developed, and began increasing the gap. The Black & White team played a successful game under the rim thanks to Roberts and Johnson duo, tied the score at 13-13 at the 7th minute. Beşiktaş Cola Turka took the lead in the game for the fist time as Mactebene scored points out of the fault shots she made (15-13). The first period was ended with 18-16 lead of the Black & White team.   
The visitor team took control of the game in the second period. Migros, scoring points from outside thanks to Birsel and Kübra, took the lead again in the first minutes. Beşiktaş Cola Turka tried to trim the gap with the points by Mactebene and tied the game again at the 15th minute (27-27). Beşiktaş Cola Turka regained control of the game in the final minutes and wrapped up the first half 35-29 leading.
Migrosspor fought in the game using different attack variations for taking the lead in the first period of the second half. Keeping up its effective performance under the rim in this quarter also, the Black & White team increased the gap up to 6 points thanks to Roberts and Mactebene scoring points one after another. Beşiktaş Cola Turka wrapped up the third period 56-46 leading with the 2-pointer scored by Nihan Anaz with 7 seconds remaining.
The Black & White players did not let their rivals to score much in the last part and began increasing the gap thanks to points scored by Şebnem Kimyacıoğlu and grabbed a 61-46 lead in the 33rd minute. Beşiktaş Cola Turka won the game 69-56 thanks also to contributions by Yasemin Horasan and Mactebene in the score, and maintained its leadership.
While Roberts was the most scorer player in the game with 23 points in her credit, other players scored as follows: Mactebene (16), Johnson (12), Yasemin Horasan (11), Şebnem (5), and Nihan Anaz (2).
