Athletes of Beşiktaş, which had 44 points in the Senior Women’s Category and 32 points in Junior Women’s Category in the last stage of Turkish Inter-Clubs Cross League, became the champion in Turkey.  Beşiktaş Senior Women’s Team will represent Turkey at European Champion Clubs Cup Cross Races.

Beşiktaş senior women athletes had the following results in 6000 meters in the final stage of Turkish Cross League which was held at İstanbul Kazlıçeşme: Türkan Erişmiş, first place with 22.33; Gülşah Akdoğan, fourth place with 23.51; Arzu Berk, 14th place with 24.59; Mehtap Baştuğ, 26th place with 26.02. After these results, Beşiktaş scored 11 points of difference to its closest follower Yeni Mahalle Municipality and declared its championship with 44 points.
On the other hand, Beşiktaş junior women athletes had the following results in 3000 meters: Hülya Ongun, first place with 11.01; Dilek Çimenkaya, 2nd place with 11.18; Hülya Baştuğ, 4th place with 11.37; Miray Gür, 12th place with 12.04. After collecting 32 points, Beşiktaş  scored 22 points of difference to its closest follower Kayseri Pansu Sports Club and held the championship cup high..
