Beşiktaş Handball Team defeated Bilgi University Kuştepe at the 14th week of the league in the game played at BJK Süleyman Seba Sports Hall (47-20).

Utku, experienced player of Beşiktaş, scored the first goal in the game. Beşiktaş, stopping attacks of the Bilgi University at defense line, scored few goals in a row in the rival goal. Black & White team widened the gap considerably after the goals scored by Emin Hallaç, reached a score of 10-4 within 15 minutes. Bilgi University tried to organize attacks in the first half in order to score but began having weak spots in its defense. Beşiktaş, taking advantage of such weak spots, scored one goal after another and wrapped up the first half 24-9 in the lead.
Host team continued its performance, of the first half, in the second half; was 30-12 leading with 18 points of gap at the 40th minute following the goals scored by Bülent and Murat Güder. Beşiktaş increased its pressure thoroughly and widened the gap considerably in the last few minutes, and posted a 47-20 triumph in the game and increased its point to 24.
Coach Müfit Arın made a statement after the game and said that players of Bilgi University came from infrastructure of Beşiktaş and added “We will play a very important game in April. I am happy with the performance of our team. We are increasing our tempo. We want to continue like that and grab the championship at the end of the season.”
