Beşiktaş Football Team got a 2-1 victory over Gençlerbirliği in the game played at BJK İnönü Stadium at the 20th week of the Turkcell Super League. The goals were scored by Ali Güneş (minute 13) and Tümer Metin (penalty goal at minute 70).

Beşiktaş kicked off the game and was more effective against its opponent from the first minute on. The Black Eagle could not utilize the scoring opportunity with Tümer at the 1st minute yet, but took the lead at the 13th minute   (1-0) thanks to the superb goal by Ali Güneş who kicked the ball from outside the penalty zone. Mehmet Sedef got injured due to tough play by Ayman at the 27th minute and was replaced by İbrahim Üzülmez at the 29th minute. Rest of the first half was mostly played at the mid-field, and Beşiktaş went to the locker room at the end of the 45 minute period 1-0 leading.
Second half of the game began with the same tempo and Gençlerbirliği scored a goal in the net position thanks to Mehmet Çakır, and the score was tied at 1-1. When İbrahim Üzülmez was fouled by Ayman in the opponent’s penalty zone, referee İsmet Arzuman decided a penalty kick Tümer kicked the penalty kick and scored a goal and put Beşiktaş 2-1 ahead. Since there was not any other goal scored in the remaining minutes, the Black & White players left the field 2-1 leading.
