Beşiktaş posted a 3-0 victory over Samsunspor in the 2nd game of Fortis Turkish Cup Group D. The goals were scored by İbrahim Akın (minutes 54 and 63) and Sergen Yalçın (minute 69).
Beşiktaş played wearing its black uniforms. Visitor team Samsunspor kicked off the game. First few minutes of the game was played with high tempo, and Oscar Cordoba who was injured in a position at 5th minute had to leave the game and was replaced by Murat Şahin. While it was more like a mid-field fight later in the game, İbrahim Torman, who was hit and injured on the head in an air ball , was replaced by Koray Avcı at 42nd minute. The teams headed to the locker rooms with a 0-0 tie since there was not any goal scored in the remaining part of the first half.Black & White team made a very effective start in the 2nd half and İbrahim Akın scored a goal at 54th minute and put Beşiktaş 1-0 ahead. Ahmet Dursun was replaced by Sergen Yalçın at 62nd minute, and 1 minute after that, İbrahim Akın received the ball following organization of Tümer-Sergen and scored his and Beşiktaş’s 2nd goal with an incredible kick. The Black Eagle, which nearly blockaded the goal of Samsunspor, experienced the joy of scoring once more at 69th minute and increased the gap to 3 thanks to Sergen’s smart kick. Rest of the game was under dominance of Beşiktaş, and the Black & White team, which left the field with a 3-0 triumph at the end of the 90 minute period, increased its point in Fortis Turkish Cup Group D.
