“I will do my best for my team”

Tomas Jun, new transfer of Beşiktaş, answered the questions of the reporters at the press conference held at BJK Nevzat Demir Facilities. Jun said “I will do my best for my team”.

Tomas Jun said that Trabzon was his first experience abroad and added “I knew that every player could experience some problems in his first time with a team outside his country. Frankly, I also had a similar problem. The city that I came from Prague and İstanbul are very different from Trabzon. Both Prague and İstanbul have a lot to offer socially. Trabzon had limited resources with respect to that. Especially my wife insisted on leaving Trabzon. You can also appreciate that when you are not happy in your personal life, it is reflected on your job. I experienced that problem in Trabzon.”
Young player said that it was all in the past now and stated “Now, my objective is to become successful at Beşiktaş and be permanent. If the conditions are favorable, I would like to stay at Beşiktaş at the end of the season. If not, I will continue my football life in Europe”.
Jun also answered a question asked by the reporters about Sergen Yalçın, and said “I know Sergen from the games we both played against one another when I used to play for Sparta Prague. If you ask me, he is one of the best players in Turkey. Sergen will do what Zelenka did in my National Team. I believe that I will contribute to my team and score goals in the positions that Sergen will prepare for me. “
Czech player underlined that he will do his best with Beşiktaş, and added “I believe that I will be successful. With all honesty, I can say that I have gotten close to my teammates even though it has been a very short period of time. I am really happy here. I can communicate with my teammates easily. This is very important for me.”
Jun said that he knew Technical Director Jean Tigana very well; and added that he thought alike with him and believed that they would work in a nice relation.
