Beşiktaş Women’s Basketball Team posted an 85-67 triumph over Botaşspor in Adana at 14th week of the league and kept its spot at the top.

The fight which took place at Adana Yüreğir Sports Hall was very contentious. Both teams scored points mutually in the first period of the game. Beşiktaş Cola Turka entered the second period with an 18-21 lead. Home team, which pulled itself together in this period, was successful in defense. Since the Black & White players were not effective in offense either, Botaşspor went to the locker room 34-33 leading.
Both teams scored points in the 3rd period of the fight. Botaşspor, being more effective in offense, carried a 60-65 lead into the last quarter. Beşiktaş Cola Turka, toughening its defense, gave only 7 points in the last period. Black & White ladies, who were effective in their attacks thanks to Yasemin, Roberts and Nihan, widened the gap significantly and wrapped up the game with an 85-67 lead.
 
While Yasemin, who posted 18 points, was the most scorer player of the Black & White team, other players and the points they scored were as follows: Nihan (15), Roberts (14), Mactabene (10), Selwyn (9), Şebnem (9), Johnson (8) and Müjde (2).
Increasing its point to 27 after this victory, Beşiktaş Cola Turka kept its leadership.
