The game, which was very close, was played at Konya Atatürk Sports Hall. While the home team won the first set with 25-22, Beşiktaş pulled a victory out of the remaining 3 sets with scores 24-26, 29-31 and 23-25 (3-1).
Beşiktaş increased its point to 24 with 1 week to play for the 1st lap, and guaranteed to play in the 2nd lap.
