In the 12th week of the league, Beşiktaş Cola Turka achieved to defeat its historical rival Fenerbahçe 73-68 at the BJK Akatlar Sports and Cultural Complex. 

Having had a good start with the support of their fans, Black & White team pressed over their rival from the very first minute.  Beşiktaş Cola Turka maintained its superior play against its rival during the first period thanks to the effective play of Kerem Tunçeri, and was 15-8 ahead at 4th minute.  Beşiktaş Cola Turka gave no chance of score to its rival under the backboard thanks to its powerful defense, but Fenerbahçe started to find score by 3-point shots. With an effective play in offensive and defensive rebounds, Black & White team closed the first period with a winning score of 20-17.
The home team had a fast start in the second period and had no difficulty in finding scores during the first five minutes. While the score was 37- 37 during the last seconds of the first half, Beşiktaş Cola Turka achieved to close the first half with a winning score of 40-37 thanks to a three-point shot by Kerem Tunçeri.
The second half of the derby started with the same tempo as in the first half. Both teams were not suffering to find points in the third period, but Beşiktaş Cola Turka was dominating the game again. This match was the first game of the new transfer Kimani Ffriend with the Black & White team, and Fenerbahçe tied the score by 45-45 in the 23rd minute by Kambala, trying to dominate by shots out of 3-seconds zone. In the last minute of the third period, Fenerbahçe went to the fore by 50-49 by Mrsic, but Beşiktaş Cola Turka once again dominated the score by 54-53 thanks to the points by Elliot during the last seconds.
Mithat scored some valuable points for the Black & White team in the last period of the match, and the last six minutes started with 65-58 for Beşiktaş, thanks to the points by Michael Wright and Kerem Tunçeri.  The Black & White team was very successful in offensive and defensive rebounds and achieved to win the game by 73-68 and raised its total points to 22, keeping its position as the leader.
