Beşiktaş Men’s Basketball Team made a deal with Kimani Efriend, a pivot player from Jamaica.

Basketball Branch Captain Şenol Demirağ said that they transferred a good player for the position which had been vacant after Chuck Kornegay left. Demirağ said “We believe that Kiami, who is 2.11 meters tall, will be beneficial for Beşiktaş.”
Kimani, who was born in 1977, played for Nebraska in the USA, and also for teams such as Dynamo Moscow and Reflex Belgrade in Europe. Before joining Beşiktaş, he played for Hapoel Jerusalem of Israel.
