Beşiktaş Football Team, which was to begin practicing on December the 28th, will kick of the season on January the 2nd due to the changes made in the Fortis Turkey Cup game schedule by Turkish Football Federation.

Turkish Football Federation rearranged the schedule of the Fortis Turkey Cup, which will be played with its new format in season 2005-2006, due to eliminations of the teams playing in the European league.
Following will be the new game schedule according to the statement made:
Group 3 games: 25 January 2006
Group 4 games: 15 February 2006
Group 5 games: 22 February 2006
1st games of the quarter final: 8 March 2006
2nd games of the quarter final: 22 March 2006
1st games of the semi final: 5 April 2006
2nd games of the semi final: 19 April 2006
Final game: 3 May 2006
Change in the gathering date
Following the change made in the Cup schedule, the gathering date, which had been December the 28th, was changed to 2 January 2006. Beşiktaş Football Team will get together at BJK Nevzat Demir Facilities on January the 2nd and leave to Antalya on January the 3rd for recess camp.
