Beşiktaş lost 1-0 against Trabzonspor in the last game of the first half of the 2005-2006 Turkcell Super League.

Making a fast start into the game, Beşiktaş found opportunities from the first minutes on by attacks from right and left wings, whereas the visitor team tried to get close to the goal with sudden attacks especially from the wing where Yattara was. While Beşiktaş, taking complete control of the game later in the game, tried to score at the opponent goal, Trabzonspor had hard time getting out of its own semi field. The first 45 minute period ended 0-0. 
While it started snowing in the 2nd half of the game, Tümer Metin replaced Sergen Yalçın in the Black & White team. The ball kicked by Yattara unfortunately hit Adem Dursun and passed the goal line and put Trabzonspor 1-0 in the lead. The Black & White players began pressuring the goal of the opponent team even harder following the aforesaid goal; Kleberson’s kick returned from the goal post at minute 54, and Youla could not score a goal in the position where he was face to face with the goal keeper at minute 56. Veysel Cihan replaced Adem Dursun at minute 60, and the ground became even heavier as it snowed more.  
While Beşiktaş tried one attack after another at Trabzonspor’s goal and distressed the visitor team, the Burgundy & Blue team backed up to their penalty zone altogether in order to maintain the score. The Black & White team left the field 1-0 tracking since there was not any other goal in the rest of the game.
