Beşiktaş Handball Team lost against Frisch Auf Göppingen of Germany in the 4th round rematch game in EHF Cup (32-31) and was eliminated from the cup.

Beşiktaş, which could not make a good start into the game played at Süleyman Seba Sports Hall, was behind in the first few minutes. The Black & White players, preventing an increased gap against their opponent thanks to their strong defense from minute 15 onwards, brought a balance in the game but nevertheless finished the first half 16-18 tracking. 
Making a great start into the second half and taking the lead after quick attacks, Beşiktaş increased the gap up to 7 points for a moment. The hosting team, which had difficulty passing the German defense line, could not stop the attacks of Göppingen, lost its lead and left the game 31-32 tracking.
Frisch Auf Göppingen, which won the first game 40-29, advanced to the next round in the cup.
