Beşiktaş Cola Turka: 85 Ceyhan Belediyesi: 71

Beşiktaş Women’s Basketball Team, hosting Ceyhan Municipality in the BJK Akatlar Sports and Culture Complex at the 9th week of TBBL, posted a 85-71 victory over its strong opponent.

Beşiktaş Cola Turca was the team making a good start into the game which made the two candidates for championship at TBBL play against one another. The Black & White team, which took the lead over its opponent thanks to the points scored by Yasemin Horasan and Johnson, and kept its lead throughout the period, was 9 points ahead in the beginning of the 7th minute. The host team, performing a successful defense against the attacks of its opponent, wrapped up the first period 20-11 leading
Beşiktaş Cola Turca had the lead in the game in the second period also. The Black & White players, who did not have difficulty against Ceyhan Municipality thanks to the collective play by Yasemin Horasan, Nazlı Güler and Selwyn, was 33-19 in the lead with 5 minutes to play in the first half.  Beşiktaş Cola Turca scored 7 points in the last minute of the second quarter with Selwyn, Bonen and Nazlı Güler, and went to the locker room 43-29 in the lead.
Ceyhan Municipality made a fast start into the second half. Representative of Adana began trimming the gap thanks to the points scored by the American player Scott from inside and outside. The game interrupted for a while due to injury sustained by Irvin of Ceyhan Municipality. The Green & White team made the score 53-48 in the last two minutes.  Beşiktaş Cola Turca, trying to keep the deficit with Nihan Anaz’s efforts, finished the third set with a 58-52 lead also.
The fourth period began with the points scored by Ceyhan Municipality and the opponent team reduced the gap down to 1 point (58-57) in the first minute of the fourth period. Ceyhan Municipality, being in control of the game thanks to the effective performance by the American players, took the lead for the first time with three minutes remaining (58-59). The representative of Adana received three technical faults in the last two minutes of the game due to the unrest at the bench of Ceyhan Municipality and objections raised by the assistant coach. Yasemin Horasan scored baskets and put Beşiktaş Cola Turca 75-68 ahead, and the gap widened in the remaining minutes and Beşiktaş Cola Turca grabbed a 58-71 triumph and increased its point to 17.
