C.Zagreb:71 Beşiktaş Cola Turka: 71

Beşiktaş Women’s Basketball Team tied with ZKK Crotia Zagreb in an away game in the first game of the 2nd round in the FIBA European Cup (71-71). The rematch of the game will be played in İstanbul on 15th of December.

Both teams scored points mutually in the first few minutes of the 1st period, during which the Black & White Ladies played better than its opponents thanks to baskets scored by Nyree Roberts and Jacklyn Johnson and took the lead 16-23 in this quarter. Beşiktaş Cola Turca reached a score of 20-28  and an 8 point difference in the beginning of the 2nd period thanks to baskets scored by Nihan Anaz, but could not stop Klein and Dodic later in the period and ZKK Croatia Zagreb took the lead (31-30) 4 minutes 15 seconds to play. Even though Nihan Anaz scored points, the host team went to the locker room 42-38 leading.
While Beşiktaş Cola Turca reduced the gap early in the 3rd period thanks to the points scored by Johnson and Müjde Yüksel, the host team took the lead again with 2 minutes remaining through the points scored by Dodic, Penn and Ivezic.  The Croatian team was in the lead 59-50 as the last period began. 
The last quarter of the game was very contentious. Trimming the gap thanks to baskets scored by Nihan Anaz and Nyree Roberts, the Black & White team tied the score (71-71) with 12 seconds to play and the game ended with the same score. Since the 2nd round was played based on double game eliminating method, the time of the game was not extended. The rematch of the game will be played at BJK Akatlar Sports & Culture Complex on 15th of December, Thursday. If Beşiktaş Cola Turca posts a victory in that game, it will advance to the next round.
Ines Krosevic, who is the new transfer of the Black & White team, also played in the game. While Johnson was the most scorer player of Beşiktaş Cola Turca with 19 points, other players scored as follows: Nihan Anaz and Nyree Roberts (15 points each), Yasemin Horasan (10 points), Müjde Yüksel and Selwyn (5 points each) and Ines Kresovic (2 points).
