While Beşiktaş, fighting in Group H in the UEFA Cup, tied with Zenit (1-1), Sevilla posted a 3-1 triumph over Guimaraes in the other game played in the group. 

After these results, Zenit, which played four games, is at the top with 7 points, whereas rest of the teams which played 3 games lined up as follows: Sevilla is in 2nd place with 6 points, Bolton is in 3rd place with 5 points, Beşiktaş is in 4th place with 2 points and Guimaraes is in 5th place with 1 point.
The last games in the Group will be played as follows: while Beşiktaş will play against Guimaraes in an away game on 14th of December, Bolton will host Sevilla.
