Beşiktaş, hosting Efes Pilsen at BJK Akatlar Sports & Culture Complex in the most important game of the week in the Turkish Men’s Basketball League, posted a 81-76 victory over its opponent. The Black & White team thus got its 5th triumph in a row in the league.

Beşiktaş made a fast start into the first period of the game; and even though Beşiktaş scored the first points, it got behind its strong opponent due to gaps in its defense. The Black & White players, who could not stop Domercant no matter how hard they tried, finished the first period 20-23 tracking.
Making a fast start into the second period, the Black Eagle displayed a better performance compared to the first period with its play under the rim and in defense. The Black & White team, which did not have difficulty in scoring thanks to the outer shoots by Ellis, was in the lead with 3 minutes remaining thanks to the 3-pointer scored by the American player in the last minutes. Beşiktaş, keeping up its successful play, went to the locker room with a 43-40 lead.
