Beşiktaş  posted a 3-0 victory over Fenerbahçe, the archrival, in the derby game in the 1st League of Turkish Women’s Volleyball, and maintained its undefeated status in its group.

Fighting in Group B without any loss in the first 4 weeks, Beşiktaş defeated its archrival easily in the game played at BJK Akatlar Sports and Culture Complex.
While the teams displayed a close performance in the beginning, Fenerbahçe was 8-7 leading in the first technical time-out. Beşiktaş, finding points against its opponent in the first set thanks to services by Eda, became effective in the following minutes with hard spikes of Shabovta, and won the first set 25-20.
The Black & White Ladies, not having difficulty in preventing the shots by Fenerbahçe in the second set, was the superior team in this set also thanks to hard spikes by Shabovta and Arzu. Beşiktaş, resisting against Fenerbahçe’s spikes with blocks made by Bugeva and Arzu, finished this set also 25-15 leading.
While Fenerbahçe, trying to be effective against Beşiktaş in the last set, was 8-7 in the lead at the first technical time-out, could not resist any more against points scored by Arzu and Shabovta in the last few minutes of the game. Beşiktaş won the set with 25-22 and the game with 3-0 over its opponent.
Beşiktaş Women’s Volleyball Team, including this victory, has won its 5th game in a row, increased its point to 15 and maintained its undefeated leadership status.
