Beşiktaş Women’s Basketball Team scored a 72-44 triumph over Burhaniye Municipality at the 5th week of the league.
Beşiktaş Cola Turka could not make the start it had wished against its opponent in the first few minutes of the game which was played at BJK Akatlar Sports and Culture Complex; however, grabbed the control of the game thanks to the points scored by Nyree Roberts and Jaclyn Johnson, and finished the first quarter 17-14 leading. The Burhaniye Municipality tried to respond to the points scored by the Black & White players, who made a good start into the second quarter, with Williams. However, aforesaid effort was not sufficient for the Burhaniye Municipality to prevent a wider gap; and Beşiktaş went to the locker room 34-22 in the lead.The host team, which did not have difficulty scoring points against its opponent that had lost its grip in the game, wrapped up this quarter easily 52-31 in the lead thanks partially to Yasemin Horasan who became effective in defense.
Widening the gap immensely thanks to the points scored by Jaclyn Johnson, Müjde Yüksel and Yasemin Horasan in the last quarter, Beşiktaş Cola Turka finished the game posting a 72-44 commanding lead.
The Black & White players received their 4th victory in a row in the league. While Jaclyn Johnson was the most scorer player with 20 points, Yasemin Horasan and Müjde Yüksel finished the game with 10 points each.
