Beşiktaş Cola Turka:74 – Kastoria CAC:56

The Beşiktaş women’s basketball team posted a 74-56 victory over Kastoria CAC from Greece in the 4th game in Group E of the Europe Cup and kept its undefeated leading position.

Having won the previous 3 games in Group E in FIBA Europe Women’s Cup, the Black & White Ladies began the game, played at BJK Akatlar Sports and Culture Complex, with absolute triumph in mind. Beşiktaş Cola Turca started the game with Müjde Yüksel, Yasemin Horasan, Jaclyn Rochalle Johnson, Laine Selwyn and Nyree Khadijah Roberts. Trailing in the first 5 minutes of the game due to minor defense mistakes, the Black & White players pulled themselves together quickly and completed the first period 13-12 leading against its opponent thanks to the points scored by Yasemin Horasan.
The Black & White team, which deciphered its opponents’ playing system in the second period, found many more positions at the rivals’ rim after Müjde, Dana Bonen and Nazlı joined the game, and went to the locker room 32-29 in the lead.
Beşiktaş Cola Turca, which did not have any problem in scoring points against its offense-concentrated Greek opponent in the second half, made the Kastoria CAC lose its grip in the game after Nihan Anaz joined the game. Effective with foul throws and outside throws in the third period, the  Black & White players, thanks to a great performance by Nihan Anaz, widened the gap by the end of this period to a score of 56-35.
Keeping the game under its control in the final period of the game, Beşiktaş Cola Turca scored a 74-56 victory over its opponent thanks to effective performances by Nihan Anaz and Yasemin Horasan, and received its 4th triumph in the FIBA Europe Women’s Cup to maintain its undefeated status.
While Yasemin Horasan was the highest scorer one among our Black & White players with 18 points, Nihan Anaz posted 17 points.
