Beşiktaş Women’s Basketball Team grabbed its 3rd victory in the 4th week of the league by defeating Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Team with 92-85 in the extended time in an away game.

The game was played in the Edip Buran Sports Hall. The home team finished the first period 25-15 in the lead thanks to the points scored by Esmeral and Adia. Beşiktaş pulled itself together in the second period and trimmed the gap and the 1st half ended 38-34 Mersin leading with 4 points.
The second half was a very contentious, and while the home scored points by  Arzu, Didem and Esmeral, the Black & White team responded with Johnson and Müjde. Balancing the game with points by both teams, Beşiktaş was tracking 64-63 with 1 point difference as the final period began. Teams performed hard defense in the final period and thus had difficulty in scoring. The score was 78-78 in the last few seconds of the game. Roberts of Beşiktaş grabbed the ball in the mid-field but missed the lay-up and the game was extended.
Keeping the game under control in the extended time, the Black & White ladies allowed its opponents to score just 7 points but scored 14 points in the rim of Mersin BŞB, and left the game 92-85 in the lead.
