Beşiktaş tied with Malatyaspor (1-1) in the 12th week of the Turkcell Super League.

The game took place in a cold and rainy day in Malatya İnönü Stadium and the referee was Mustafa Çulcu. The fans showed a great support for the Black & White team that was played its first game with the Technical Director Jean Tigana.
The first few minutes of the game was played in the mid-field. Performing a more effective play compared to its opponent, Beşiktaş tried to score in the Malatya goal especially with kicks from outside the penalty zone. But the first half ended 0-0 as these scoring attempts had not born any fruit.
Effa received a pass and performed a head shot in the penalty zone in the 71st minute and put Malatyaspor ahead 1-0. Performing a devastating pressure in the rest of the game, Beşiktaş found goaling opportunities with Pancu, Ailton and Tümer, and scored the goal in 91st minute. Youla kicked the ball from outside the penalty zone and the ball, hitting Ahmet Dursun, passed the end line.
