On the other hand, Jean Tigra said that he was very happy for having signed the contract with Beşiktaş and added:
“I am very impressed with BJK Nevzat Demir Facilities. We will start off working with the first training tomorrow in the morning. Our first priority will be to have back our injured players. I did not come here all alone; I am here with my two assistants. One of them is Jean Charles Trouabal who is a former athlete. He has become world champion in 100 meter category for 4 times and has worked as a physical condition coach at Olympic Marseille. Guy Stephan, on the other hand, is my other assistant. We had begun working together in 1993 at Lyon. Afterwards he worked at teams such as the national team, Bordeaux and Lyon. His last assignment was working in the selection board of the Senegal National Team. “
