Beşiktaş Men’s Basketball Team grabbed an 80-62 victory against Galatasaray Cafe Crown in the derby game played on the 2nd week of the league.

Making a good start in the game, Beşiktaş was 16-9 in the lead 1 minute 15 seconds remaining in the first period. Displaying an effective performance in defense and offense, the Black & White players finished the 1st period 20-11 leading. Beşiktaş made a good start in the 2nd period as well and went to the locker room in the end of the first half 37-35 in the lead.
While the 2nd half began with a close game, Beşiktaş took a 44-41 lead on the 23rd minute thanks to the 3 pointers scored by Ellis and Kerem. Continuing with their effective play, the Black & White players finished the 3rd period 59-51 in the lead also.
Beşiktaş, which continued its superiority against its archrival in the final period of the game, made the score 71-58 with 4 minutes 30 seconds left. Widening the gap even more in the remaining minutes, the Black & White players grabbed a commanding 80-62 victory and left the court victorious from the first derby of the season.
