Table Tennis 2005-2006 season began with the matches played last week in Adana. Beşiktaş Table Tennis Team won 1 of the 3 matches it played.

The matches of the1st week were played in the Adana Çukurova University Sports Hall. Beşiktaş, which played against İller Bankası in the first match of the season, won the closely contested fight with 5-4 leading. The Black & White team lost 5-0 against İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi in the 2nd match and the Masa Tenisi İhtisas in the 3rd match. 
The Super League 2nd week matches will be played in Eskişehir on 23rd and 24th of October. Beşiktaş will play against TED Kolejliler which was the champion team of the last year, and also against Fenerbahçe and Tofaş.
Sabahattin Sabrioğlu, Beşiktaş Table Tennis Branch Manager, said that the league would witness a great contest this season and added “The matches are very closely contested. Quite strong teams were formed this season. Our goal is to be in top 6 and to be able to play in Europe next season”.
