Here are the opponents

We examined Sevilla, Zenit and Vitoria that are Beşiktaş’s opponents in Group H in the UEFA Cup in detail.

One of the opponents of the Black & White team, Spanish Sevilla, finished the league on the 6th place last season and showed a successful performance. The Spanish team changed its technical director as they began the current year, and had 1 victory, 3 ties and 2 defeats in the 6 games they played in the current season so far. Sevilla plays its games in the Roman Sanchez Stadium with a seating capacity of 45 thousand spectators. While Sevilla lost Baptista, its one of the most important players, to Real Madrid; the team acquired 3 very important goal machines such as Saviola, Kanoute and Louis Fabiano. Stars such as Navarro and Prieto are also in the team. Sevilla tied (0-0) against Mainz in Spain in the first tour of UEFA Cup, then grabbed a 2-0 victory in an away game against its opponent and made the group games.   
British Bolton is currently at the 5th place with 14 points in the Premier League. Bolton lost 2-1 in an away game played against Wigan Athletic in its last game. Bolton plays its games in the Reebok Stadium having seating capacity of 28 thousand spectators.  There are important players in Bolton such as Giannakopoulos, Ivan Campo, N’Gotty, Okocha and Diouf. Bolton won Locomotive Plovdiv 2-1 in the first game in the 1st tour of the UEFA Cup, and passed the tour when the result of the following game played at Locomotive Plovdiv’s home was the same.
Whereas the other opponent Russian Zenit received the attention of others thanks to its successful trend in the European Cup. Zenit, which began the UEFA Cup in the 2nd preliminary tour, tied with Pashing in an away game (2-2) and in Russia (1-1) and passed the tour. In the 1st tour of the Cup, on the other hand, Zenit played against AEK and first tied the game played in its home (0-0) and afterwards won the away game (1-0) and thus made the group games. Zenit is on the 4th place in the Russian League with 12 wins, 9 ties and 4 losses. The team plays its games in the Petrosky Stadium which has 22 thousand seating capacity. Kerzakov, who also plays for the Russian national team, is regarded as the most important player of the team
Whereas Vitoria SC of Portugal that is the last opponent participated in the UEFA Cup at the 1st tour this season. Vitoria grabbed a 3-0 victory against Wisla Krakov in the home and again won the away game with a score of 1-0 and thus passed the tour. Vitoria plays its games in a stadium with 30 thousand seating capacity. Portuguese team, which could not repeat the performance of the last year in the beginning of the current season, with 5 defeat and 1 win occupies one of the last positions in the league.
