Beşiktaş won a 3-2 victory against Samsunspor on the 8th week of the league with goals by Sergen Yalçın on the 18th minute, by Souleymane Youla on the 35th minute and by Ailton on the 85th minute.

Performing an aggressive football from the first moments on, Beşiktaş took the lead 1-0 on the 18th minute thanks to the free kick goal by Sergen Yalçın. Souleymane Youla who turned the smart pass by Ahmed Hassan into a goal on the 35th minute put the Black & White team 2-0 ahead.  The first half was ended with score of 2-1 when Adnan scored a goal for Samsunspor by a head shot 
While Samsunspor seemed to be more in control of the game in the beginning of the 2nd half, Beşiktaş was effective at the opponent team’s goal thanks to its long distances traveling kicks. Ailton from Brazil proved his skills on the 85th minute and scored the 3rd goal of Beşiktaş. Even though Samsunspor reduced the gap to 1 after the goal scored by Kaies on the 89th minute, there were no more goals in the remaining minutes and the game was wrapped up with Beşiktaş in lead 3-2.
