Technical Director Rıza Çalımbay said in the press conference he organized after the derby that they were very sorry.

Rıza Çalımbay said the following in the press conference:
“First of all, we are very sorry. It was a home game which we should not have lost for sure. We fought very well specially in the 2nd half of the game and had opportunities. But unfortunately same problem still continues. Our lack performance in final kicks was again present. While we were thinking of scoring the 2nd goal, we were goaled in a very simple way which was not suitable for a great team like us. We had superb fans in the stadium. They supported us all the way. I am particularly very sorry on their behalf. There is a very long league marathon ahead of us. We have to look ahead now. We are thinking of Ankaraspor first and then Malmö game at UEFA Cup.”
