Beşiktaş got an away victory of 1-0 in the first game of the 2nd preliminary tour of UEFA Cup against FC Vaduz. The goal came from Okan Buruk in the 12th minute. 

Our immigrants showed great interest in the game that took place at Rheinpark Stadium in the city of Vaduz of Liechtenstein. Our immigrants that had filled almost all of the grandstands in the stadium gave great support to Beşiktaş with their cheers throughout the game.
Beşiktaş was very effective against its opponent as of the first minutes of the game where the goal came in 12th minute. Black and Whites went 1-0 ahead when Okan Buruk netted the ball coming from the left corner kick with a beautiful shot. First half was concluded 1-0 with this goal.
Beşiktaş which has also dominated the field in the 2nd half of the game troubled the Vaduz goal with the attacks that it has organized. Vaduz made an effort to score a goal in order to leave its own field at least with a tie in the final moments of the game however Beşiktaş did not let this happen and secured a 1-0 away victory. Return game of the 2nd preliminary tour of UEFA Cup will be played in August 25th at BJK İnönü Stadium.
