Basketball Committee Head Yahya Kemal Gençer, Basketball Branch Captain Şenol Demirağ, and Coach Murat Didin attended the signature ceremony.

Yahya Kemal Gençer said, in the statement he made at the ceremony, that Beşiktaş had done another “first” and included Kerem Tunçeri, who plays in the starting lineup of the national team, in its team, and added “We are even stronger with Kerem. God willing, this will be good for both parties. I trust that Kerem would lead Beşiktaş and the Turkish National Team to great victories. Beşiktaş Basketball Team sets higher and higher objectives for each season. We will again continue with our transfer work as the way our Coach wishes. Our objective is to lead the Beşiktaş basketball to even better days”.
Kerem Tunçeri, on the other hand, stated his happiness for joining Beşiktaş and said “I have done the best I could in all teams I played for. Now, I will sweat for Beşiktaş’s success. Beşiktaş is a team of great objectives. This has influenced my decision to come here. Beşiktaş has magnificent fans. It is an incredible feeling to play before those fans. I am looking forward to the first game which I will play. And afterwards, I will do my best for having a great season and lifting Beşiktaş to the best point”.
