Beşiktaş got a 1-1 draw in the away game against Kayseri Erciyesspor in the first week of the new season of Super League. Beşiktaş’s goal came from Sergen Yalçın in the 84th minute of the game, 75 minutes of which Black and Whites had played with 10 players. 

Beşiktaş that had applied a overwhelming pressure on his opponent in the first minutes started to try the goal of Kayseri Erciyesspor with attacks from left and right wings. Black Eagles were reduced to 10 men on the field when Ali Tandoğan received a red card for engaging in a row with the assistant referee in a position when the game clock displayed 15th minute. The pace of the game slowed down from this minute on with the effect of the excessive heat but both sides tried to score with quick attacks from time to time. However the first 45 minutes ended 0-0 since none of the sides had managed to convert these positions.
Beşiktaş started the 2nd half of the game however it was Cenk of Kayseri Erciyesspor who scored in the 54th minute due to a sudden mistake that had been committed by the defense and Kayseri Erciyesspor went up by one with a score of 1-0. Sergen Yalçın that had joined the game in the second half leveled the score in the 84th minute. Sergen netted the ball with a terrific shot from the foul kick and brought the score to 1-1. The game concluded with a score of 1-1 since there were no other goals by any of sides.
