New Brazilian transfer Ailton Goncalves Da Silva undersigned the 3 year contract with one year option in front of the press. Ailton posed to the press with the Black and White jersey on which his name was written and said “I am sure of achieving great success in here”.

Second President Murat Aksu, General Secretary Kenan Öner and a large number of press members attended the undersigning ceremony that took place in BJK Nevzat Demir Facilities.
Murat Aksu emphasized that a worldwide known footballer had been transferred and stated the following:
“We added a Brazilian player that had been the top scorer in Germany, selected as the footballer of year and famous in the world and Europe to our colors. He told to us that he was happy to be with Beşiktaş, that he will bring color to Beşiktaş this season and that Beşiktaş was the best team for him according to the impression about the ethics of Beşiktaş he got in Europe before coming here. I hope this transfer would be beneficial for the Beşiktaş Community”.
Ailton that had expressed his feelings after Aksu’s speech started his words as, “I am happy to be in Turkey and in here” and said the following:
“I feel that I came to a club with very deep roots. I also knew this before. I hope that I would achieve a greater success here than I did in Germany. I wish to join my team as soon as possible and I will in a few days. I have to know the general spirit of the team first so we can undersign great successes. I am sure that I would undersign great successes here. I will experience at least one Championship. I will learn Turkish in order to be able to talk easier in front of the cameras and in public.”
Following his speech Ailton undersigned the 3-year contract with one year option in front of the press. Ailton that had posed for the press with the Black and White No: 20 jersey on which his name was written and than wore it.
