Beşiktaş Football Team came together at the BJK Nevzat Demir Facilities after about 1 month of vacation. Technical Director Rıza Çalımbay said “We know that people have great expectations of us. God willing, we will not let anyone down for that.”

Rıza Çalımbay made a short meeting with his players and introduced the new transfers Ali Tandoğan, Kürşat Duymuş, Güven Kocabal and Adem Dursun to the teammates. Technical Director Rıza Çalımbay and the Vice President In Charge of the Football Branch Kıvanç Oktay made the following evaluation on the new season:
Rıza Çalımbay: “First of all I wish a great season for our Community. Beşiktaş Club has always been a community of great objectives. We know that people have great expectations of us. I trust my technical team and staff. God willing, we will not let anyone down for the said expectations. We have transferred players whom we know. I believe that they will serve Beşiktaş well. Our objective is to carry Beşiktaş to the best point desired for. We have a great support behind us. This support will also lead us to success.”
Kıvanç Oktay said: “God willing this will be a good season for us. We have supported our team in accordance with our Technical Director Rıza Çalımbay’s requests. We are still working on the transfer of foreign players. We will get one midfielder and one forward player and wrap up the transfer work.
