Letter by our President

Dear Beşiktaş Fans,
As Beşiktaş Gymnastics Club; we are experiencing the eternal happiness of getting the Cups and medals in exchange for the investments we made in amateur branches and keeping our promise that “we will reach Championships with all our teams which carry Beşiktaş emblem” which we made to our community.
We reached the happy end in all of our Teams which carry the Beşiktaş emblem by putting BJK Akatlar Sports and Culture Complex into operation and forming teams that have the spirit of Beşiktaş. The fact that our Club attained the success in the amateur branches this year, which our Community had been longing for 20-30 years, is also a source of pride for me personally and the Board of Directors.
The fact that the Women’s Basketball Team won Fenerbahçe, our long time opponent, in the finals and declared the Championship, our Handball Team which made us get our first Championship in the Displacement League last month and which also won rest of the games and became the “Undefeated Champion”, and subsequently brought the Turkey Cup into our museum, and Men’s Basketball Team made the finals after 30 years are great achievements not only for our Beşiktaş but for the Turkish Sports as a whole.
Rowing, Athletics, Boxing, Gymnastics Teams also achieved great successes in the competitions that they participated throughout the season and led our teams to “Championships in every branch”
I would like to send my deepest appreciation to Yahya Kemal Gençer and Bülent Deriş, members of the Board of Directors, administrators and technical staff of our Teams, the players who all contributed to the success which our Club enjoyed and our fans who supported our Beşiktaş greatly at every game, and congratulate everyone who worked for this purpose.
Our Beşiktaş will continue its support for the amateur branches and keep on being the model and the leader team for other Sports Clubs and serve Turkish Sports.
