FİYAPI İNÖNÜ STADIUM
It was constructed in the period of the 2nd President İsmet İnönü and commissioned on May 19, 1947. The first match in İnönü Stadium took place between Beşiktaş and Swedish AIK football clubs. Renovation work at BJK İnönü Stadium was completed in 2004. The size of the football pitch is 105X68m required by the UEFA. The tartan track was removed within the scope of these activities and the ground was lowered by 4 meters to increase the capacity of the stadium to 32.145 people. It complies with the UEFA standards.




How to get there?
It is right across the Dolmabahçe Palace along the road from Beşiktaş to Taksim. You will come across the Beşiktaş İnönü Stadium right at the end of Gümüşsuyu Avenue when traveling from Taksim.
Mass Transportation
It is within a walking distance of 10 minutes from Beşiktaş or Taksim Square which you could reach by subway, minibuses called “dolmus” or buses. Those who travel from the Anatolian side could utilize ferry which takes off every 30 minutes and boat which operates continuously from Üsküdar and Kadıköy to Beşiktaş and Kabataş.
Parking
You could park your car at the Taksim Beyoğlu Evlendirme Dairesi (Taksim Beyoğlu Marriage Office) Parking Lot or Beşiktaş Sinanpaşa Alışveriş Merkezi (Beşiktaş Sinanpaşa Shopping Mall) paid parking lot.
Other rules
* The gates are normally opened 3.5 or 4 hours before the normal game days, 6 or 7 hours before derby and European Cup games.
* Tickets should be purchased for children above 6.
* There are refreshment stands at the grandstands. – Gates are open until the kickoff time.
