Rowers of Beşiktaş Mete Yeltepe, Onur Şen and Barbaros Turan, who had competed wearing the national uniform in the International Gent Rowing Competition that had taken place in Belgium on May 7-8, won gold medals. 

Mete Yeltepe won the gold medal by coming in first in the single sculls category in the 1st day organization and gained the right to compete in the second day races. Onur Şen and Barbaros Turan took the 2nd spot in the double sculls races that had taken place on the same day. Rowers of Beşiktaş who had won silver medals were entitled to compete in the 2nd day races. 
Mete Yeltepe again took the 1st place in the single sculls races that had taken place on the second day and won another gold medal. Onur Şen and Barbaros Turan who had raced in the double sculls category came also in first and had the gold medal.
