Beşiktaş Men’s Handball Team beat Trabzon Municipality 38-33 in the 21st week game. The Black and Whites, who proclaimed their championship weeks ago, celebrated the title with their fans before the game.

Beşiktaş players, who proclaimed their championship weeks ago, shared their joy with their fans before the competition in Süleyman Seba Sports Hall. The fans that had filled the hall, cheered the players who went on the court with their kids and whose names were read one by one under fog and light effect show.
Beşiktaş who had wanted to finish the league as unbeaten champions, went to the locker rooms 16-14 up despite having a hard time in the first half. The Black and Whites who controlled the game in the second half, remained unbeaten, winning the game 38-33.
A joyous atmosphere was present in the locker room after the game. The technical staff and players celebrated this championship which had been achieved after a 23-year interval with great joy. The Member of Executive Board in charge of the Handball Branch Bülent Deriş stated in his speech to the players in the locker room, “We knew that we would win the title. Your remained unbeaten. I believe that you will make us unbeaten champions by winning also next week. Then you will bring us the Turkish Cup. I believe in this”.
