Technical Director Rıza Çalımbay and players Oscar Cordoba, Tayfun Korkut, Veysel Cihan, Çağdaş Atan and İbrahim Toraman evaluated the Samsunspor victory.

Technical Director Rıza Çalımbay said the following regarding the game: “It was a game that we had to win. We continued the series we captured by winning. Samsunspor is a very good team. I congratulate all of my players for this victory. They all tried hard including those joining later for the whole 90 minutes and displayed the soccer that is befitting us on the pitch. Now there are 3 games left. As I always say, we want to finish the league at a place that befits us by winning those games, too.”
Goal keeper Oscar Cordoba made the following comment on the penalty kick by Serkan Aykut in the 24th minute: “I picked a corner and went for it. That’s where the ball ended up”.
Tayfun Korkut, who made the assist for the second goal, joining the game in the second half and Veysel Cihan, who put the ball into the net, said:
Tayfun Korkut: It is very nice to join the game later and to find a goal. One has to congratulate Okan’s pass, too. In the end, we got 3 points. If I have a small share in this, I will be very happy.
Veysel Cihan: We made eye contact with Tayfun in that position. He passed the ball to a very good place and I concluded it with a goal.
Çağdaş Atan: Both, us and our opponents tried to play well. Especially, in the second half, our fans did not leave us alone. They supported us although it was not a very important game. We are grateful to them. I dedicate this victory first to my mother, then to all mothers.
Ibrahim Toraman: It was a good game. Samsun is also a good team, one of the powerful teams in the league. We tried hard. We took advantage of the positions and we won.
