Junior and Senior triple jump Turkey record holder athlete Efhanım Temizsoy of Beşiktaş encountered a misfortune during his new branch, vault training.

Efhanım Temizsoy, who has been training in Ankara for the Championship of Turkey, fell on his foot, despite he should fall on his back, on the cushion during training for pole vaulting which he has been occupied with for a year and his fibula bone on his right ankle was displaced.  21 year old young athlete was given immediate medical attention on the cushion by the trainer Ergun Padır and the field doctor. The fibula bone of the athlete that had been transferred to the hospital urgently via ambulance was placed in its place.
Ergün Padır, trainer of the young athlete, noted that Temizsoy had also achieved the best result of the season in pole vaulting following his success in triple jump and said: “We encountered a great deal of misfortune. His condition will be clear after the operation which will be performed tomorrow. However, Efhanım is a very strong and determined athlete and I believe that he would be back on the track again”.
