Beşiktaş Women’s Basketball Team grabbed a 71-59 commanding triumph over Fenerbahçe at the first game of the Play-Off final series and took a 2-1 lead in the series which had started 1-1.

Beşiktaş, which began the game very well with the magnificent support of its fans, obtained
10-0 gap in the 3rd minute. The rival team Fenerbahçe on the other hand managed to get its first point after 3 minutes and 30 seconds of the game and brought the score to 12-2. Beşiktaş, which had succeeded in the defense greatly and had not given its opponent any opportunity to score, completed the first period with a 26-10 lead.
It was Beşiktaş which also dominated the game in the 2nd period. The Black and Whites that had not even let its opponent to catch its breath led the 17th minute with 37-25 score and managed to keep the gap. Beşiktaş went to the locker room with a score of 41-26 at the end of the first half.
Beşiktaş also started the 3rd period of the competition well, and brought the score to 47-28 and the gap to 19 points in the 23rd minute. The Black and Whites, that had played almost flawlessly and left its opponent desperate during the remaining part of the 3rd period, entered the last period of the game with a 57-36 lead.
Also, in the final period of the game, during which the rival team Fenerbahçe has never taken the lead, Beşiktaş’s basketball show continued. The Black and Whites, that has played with a quick pace throughout the game and suffocated its opponent so to say, carried the score to  69-55 with 3 minutes remaining in the game. Beşiktaş displayed a relax performance it the remaining part of the game, left the court with 71-59 victory and took a 2-1 lead in the series.
