Letter by our President

Dear Beşiktaş Fans,
The historical victory that we had gained at the derby game not only enabled our Community to experience a great glory but also proved once more the respect that all of Turkey has for Beşiktaş.
It is a known fact by everybody that our Beşiktaş is the most beloved and respected Club of our country.
Labor, to achieve the success deservedly, to compete until the last drop of sweat despite unfairness, love for the uniform and gentlemanship, which have been the principles of being of Beşiktaş, are the main reasons for this respect.
Our players reflected all of these principles on the field at the victory night which had its place in the history; they demonstrated one more time the “Spirit of Beşiktaş” and what it meant to be a “team” in the derby at which they wore the 100th Year uniforms.
We believe that such successes would be continuous with our own son Rıza Çalımbay, and we are not doubtful that our re-clasping following all of the hard luck we had encountered this season would lead us to our targets next season.
Dear Beşiktaş Fans,
I had announced that our target for all of our teams carrying the Beşiktaş emblem was the Championship.
While our Athletics, Boxing, Handball Teams which had taken off with this objective in mind achieved the Championships and medals; our Women’s Basketball, Men’s Basketball, Handicapped Teams have been getting closer to the Cups with confident steps. 
Our Handball Team put an end to our 23 year aspiration with three weeks remaining in the season by undersigning our Club’s first Championship in the Displacement League. I congratulate all, notably our Member of Executive Board Mr. Bülent Deriş, who labored in our Handball Branch which has also been heading for the Championship in the Turkey Cup and getting ready for adding the "Undefeated" title to our Championship by winning the last three games in the league.
We have undersigned very important projects for our substructure, being the future of our Beşiktaş, under management of Mr. Sinan Vardar who is a Member of the Executive Board. I congratulate our Super Youth Team that won the Championship by a large margin despite being in the same group with Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, and underline that the players being trained in our substructure would contribute greatly to our Beşiktaş and Turkish Football as a whole.
We will reach our objectives with the great support of our fans who has adopted the concept of living with Beşiktaş as the philosophy of life, and enjoy the exclusivity of being a Beşiktaş fan every minute.
