The Beşiktaş Men’s Handball Team, which had proclaimed the championship of the previous league beat Kastamonu Taşköprü 63-27 in the first round game of the Turkey Cup and reached the quarter finals.

Beşiktaş were dominant in the game, played in the Süleyman Seba Sports Hall. Cengiz Hatırnaz was the leading scorer of the game with 10 goals, despite only having played in the first half of the game. Murat Güder and Ömer Mutlu followed Cengiz with 8 goals each. Beşiktaş, which entered the final 10 minutes of the first period of the game with a 23-4 lead, lead the game 31-15 at the end of the period.
The Beşiktaş Handballers, who worried their opponents with their effective attacks in the second period, extended their lead to 51-20 with 10 minutes remaining, and won the game with a 63-27 lead.
Beşiktaş will play in the Quarter Final of the Turkey Cup against the İzmit Greater Municipality on 16 April in the Süleyman Seba Sports Hall.
