After guaranteeing the championship in the Handball League from now without the last 3 matches and winning the first title ever in the Handball League, Beşiktaş now set a new target: Turkey Cup II.

Müfit Arın, successful coach of Beşiktaş that won its first title in the two-legs Handball League, which was formed 23 years ago, said, “We have guaranteed being the champion. Now, our target is to complete the league without being defeated and then to take Turkey Cup in order to have a double joy. We also want to be successful in European Cups in next year and to represent our country and our Club as best as possible”.
Arın also mentioned that they are happy since they managed to achieve their objectives that they have set in the beginning of the season and added, “I cannot explain this championship with words. You really have to live it. I would like to thank to all of our managers, my technical colleagues, our players, and all others that contributed to this great happiness”.
Bilal Eyüboğlu, Manager of Handball Branch, has said that Beşiktaş is always the pioneer and the team taking place in the first rank and added, “We present this title that we had after 23 years to the Community of Beşiktaş and to our fans. We are now very happy since we fulfilled our promises that we have given to our Chairman, Mr. Yıldırım Demirören, to our Board of Directors, and to our Branch Head, Mr. Bülent Deriş, at the beginning of the season. The God didn’t shame us. From now on we will do our best and firstly we would win Turkey’s Cup and then in next year, we would carry our Beşiktaş to the best place in the European Cups”.
