Beşiktaş Men’s Basketball Team lost against Erdemirspor in the game played in BJK Akatlar Sports and Culture Complex on the 20th week of the league with 88-79 score.

Beşiktaş began the game with Khalid El-Amin, Haluk Yıldırım, Andy Ellis, Ratko Varda and Bekir Yarangüme. While beginning of the first period was played with scores by both teams, widening the gap thanks to effective performance by Ratko Varda and points by Khalid El-Amin, Beşiktaş took the lead with 31-18.
The Black & White team which could not produce any points in the first two attempts in the 2nd period and could not stop the effective performance by the opponent team, and as a result, Erdemirspor, which was able to trim the gap, tied the score 37-37 with 3 minutes 45 seconds to play. Beşiktas was back on the top again with 2 points with seconds remaining in the 2nd period thanks partly to Ratko Varda’s contributions and ended the period with 44-42 lead.
The third period began with points by each team and there was a balance in the first minutes of the period. Erdemirspor, being successful in defense as well as offence, took the lead 62-65 with 3 minutes 15 seconds left when it was also superior at rebounds and completed the period 66-75 cushion and 9 points ahead.
Beşiktaş, making a strong comeback in the fourth period and trimming the gap in the first minutes, was particularly ineffective at defense and offense rebounds. While the last minutes of the game were played closely; hosting team which kept the gap same thanks to efforts of    Haluk Yıldırım and El-Amin, had troubles due to losing the ball. Erdemirspor grabbed 88-79 final score by the end of the game.
