In the 17th week of the league, the Beşiktaş Women Basketball Team beat Fenerbahçe in the Caferağa Sports Hall with the score of 63-61 and became the leader.

Having entered the 17th week in the Turkey’s Women Basketball League in 2nd place after Fenerbahçe with 30 points and score average, Beşiktaş defeated its rival in the away game and seized the leadership.
The match was hard fought. Having completed the first period 14-13 ahead, Beşiktaş maintained its superior game and went to the locker room ahead 33-16. The Black-White Team was again ahead 54-41 in the third period and won the match the last minutes of which was highly contested 63-61 i and became the leader.
