In the 16th week of the league, Beşiktaş Men’s Basketball Team defeated Tekelspor with the score of 86-75.

In the 1st quarter of the match, which was played at the BJK Akatlar Sports and Cultural Complex, Beşiktaş competed in a great way with more efficient attacks and more successful defense than its opponent and completed the quarter by 20-14. Nedim Yücel hurt his right foot wrist in the 3rd minute and had to be out of the match. Throughout the competitive 2nd quarter, Beşiktaş encountered defense troubles and complete the quarter by 42-33. In the 3rd quarter, Beşiktaş blocked Tekelspor via its great defensive moves and scored 19 points (66-47) more than its opponent thanks to the amazing performance of Khalid El-Amin. In the last quarter, although Beşiktaş lost its motivation a bit because of the approaching victory it completed the match with a win by the score of 86-75 and carried on its challenge to be on the way to the top.
