Beşiktaş Men’s Basketball Team beat Pınar Karşıyaka in the week 14 match of the league, in BJK Akatlar Sports and Culture Complex 87-79, winning its 12th game in the league.

The enormously contentious game began with balanced scores by the teams, Nedim from Beşiktaş made successful shots at the beginning of the game and scored most of the points of his team, and the black & white team lead inthe  first quarter 18-16.
In the second quarter, Beşiktaş had a hard time with El-Amin getting into foul trouble too early and repeated  turnovers, and after 13 minutes Pınar Karşıyaka caught up to tie the score 24-24. Three point shots of Haluk Yıldırım and Tolga Tekinalp helped Beşiktaş to regain power and with those points after the 15th minute the score came to 34-26 with a 8 point difference. Beşiktaş ruled in the last 5 minutes of the quarter and ended the first half 39-34.
Black &Whites started the second half of the game with El-Amin, roared back and scored more points  against Pınar Karşıyaka.  After waiting at the sidelines with three fouls in the first half, El-Amin returned and scored one basket after another and made the score 58-42 with the support of Andy Ellis and Albert Mouring, after 27 minutes and they finished the third quarter 67-48 in front.
In the last quarter Beşiktaş put on a show. Our team held on to the score without allowing the point difference being closed by the rival team, thanks to the forceful play of El-Amin and won its 12th match 87-79.
