Director Rıza Çalımbay ended his first match beside his team with cheers. Çalımbay said, “the point is to win and I am happy that we did it”.

Director Rıza Çalımbay stated that Malatyaspor match they won with 1-0 was a very tough game and added the following:
“After only 1 day left for me to prepare for the game, I led my team to this match. Hence I could not tell my players what I exactly wanted and could not understand them fully either. But Beşiktaş is a high quality team and we fought today and won 1-0. Today we met a considerably strong rival. They also fought well in the game. The point today was to win and I am happy that we did it. From now on everything will be all right. We will pick up after this winning match, I think. We reflect our desire to the struggle on the field under bad conditions. Next week we will meet Gençlerbirliği. This week we will work hard, and next week we will do far better then we have in mind.
